Parenzana Bike trail: The trail itself is a testament to Istria's rich history, tracing the path of the former Parenzana railway, which once connected the port cities of Trieste, Italy, and Poreč, Croatia. Along the way, I passed through tunnels and over viaducts, each one a reminder of the railway's storied past.
One of the highlights of my journey was exploring the charming Istrian villages that dot the trail.
