Do I need experience to ride an e-bike?+

Yes — basic bike riding experience is enough. E-bikes are easy to handle and the motor does most of the hard work, especially on hills.

What's included with my rental?+

Each rental includes the electric bike, a helmet, a bike lock, and a bottle of water — everything you need to set off straight away.

Where do I pick up and return the bikes?+

Pick-up and drop-off are both at our office: Fizine 4, Portorož. We're easy to find right by the marina.

How long does the battery last?+

The battery lasts around 70–110 km, depending on the route you choose, the terrain, and how much you pedal yourself versus relying on the motor.

What if it rains? Can I cancel my booking?+

Light rain is no problem — you can still ride if you're up for it. For cancellations: if the reservation was made more than 1 month in advance, the paid portion is non-refundable.

Can children ride with us? Do you have child seats?+

Yes, children are welcome to ride along. We also have child seats available on request — just let us know in advance.

What happens if something goes wrong on the road?+

We provide a repair kit, a spare inner tube, and all the tools needed to fix a flat tire on the road, so you can get back on your way.

Do you offer guided tours, or are routes self-guided?+

All our suggested routes are self-guided, so you ride at your own pace. For larger groups, we also offer guided tours led by a local — get in touch and we'll arrange it.

Can I rent for multiple days or a whole week?+

Yes — you can rent a bike for as long as you'd like, from a half day to a full week or longer. Multi-day rentals come with discounted daily rates.

Is there parking near your shop?+

Yes, we offer free parking for up to 2 vehicles at our location, subject to availability.

Our Story

📍 Portorož, Istrian Coast

Two friends, two bikes,
one beautiful coastline.

We started this because we believed the best way to discover the Istrian coast is from the saddle of a bike — slowly enough to smell the sea and stop for a plate of pasta.

We're Mitja and Alex, two cycling enthusiasts who call Portorož home. Like most locals, we grew up taking the landscape for granted — the pine forests tumbling down to turquoise bays, the terracotta rooftops of old fishing villages, the olive groves and vineyards tucked between the hills.

Then we started exploring it properly, on bikes. Suddenly we saw what visitors were missing: a coastline best experienced at 20 km/h, not through a car window. We saw a route network that was growing every year, and a region where incredible food, wild nature, and the sea all sit within a day's ride of each other.

So we built the rental company we wished had existed when we first clipped in. E-bikes mean anyone can join — whatever your fitness level, whatever the hill. The coast is for everyone.

Terms & Conditions of Rental

By signing this agreement, the guest acknowledges they have read, understood, and accepted the following terms:

1 Condition of Equipment The guest confirms the electric bike(s) and all equipment are received in good working condition. Any pre-existing damage must be reported before departure.
2 Responsibility & Liability The guest assumes full responsibility for the electric bike(s) and all equipment from the time of rental until return, including any loss, theft, or damage regardless of cause.
3 Damage & Repair Costs In the event of damage, the guest agrees to cover all repair or replacement costs in full, including damage to the battery, motor, frame, wheels, brakes, or any other component.
4 Tool Bag & Spare Tube Each rental includes a bag with basic tools and one (1) spare inner tube. In the event of a flat tyre, the guest is responsible for changing it themselves or at the nearest bike shop. The tool bag and spare tube must be returned at the end of rental.
5 Safe Use & Traffic Rules The guest agrees to operate the bike(s) in accordance with local traffic laws, wear appropriate safety equipment, and use the bike only on suitable roads and paths.
6 Return of Equipment The bike(s) and all equipment must be returned at the agreed time. Late returns may incur additional charges. The guest must return the bike(s) adequately charged or accept a battery handling fee.
